The Life Scope G5 patient monitor is designed to provide smarter technologies for patient-centred care and seamless patient transport.  It comes in two models, with the option to add up to two additional displays, and advanced features that enable clinicians to customize the patient monitor for needs in different care areas throughout the entire hospital.

RAPID RESPONSE WITHOUT ADDITIONAL WORKLOAD 
The Life Scope G5 features iNIBP technology for fast and painless non-invasive blood pressure measurement, PWTT for detecting changes in the patient’s blood pressure, and esCCO for enhanced hemodynamic monitoring with no additional sensors, cost or procedure. These features support clinicians in providing rapid response without adding additional workload, which helps reduce false alarms, workload, and the time for diagnoses.

RAPID INFORMATION TO MAKE INVISIBLE INFORMATION VISIBLE 
The Life Scope G5 features aEEG technology for easier and faster detection of seizures and effective long-term EEG monitoring, synECi18 for identifying invisible ischemia of the right ventricular and posterior wall, ec1 arrhythmia analysis for superior elimination of false alarms, cap-ONE technology for reliable EtCO₂ measurement and easy airway management, BluPRO technology for enhancing patient comfort with high clinical accuracy (SPO₂ measurement), and Dual SpO₂ technology for detecting persistent pulmonary hypertension of newborn (PPHN).  These features provide rapid information to make invisible information visible for informed patient management.

QUALITY OF SMARTER TECHNOLOGY 
Nihon Kohden designed the Life Scope G5 interface simple, easy to use, and clearly visible from a distance. The patient monitor provides high-end features like esCCO, PWTT, dual temperature, etc. on the go during transport with the Life Scope PT. Seamless data transfer is secured by using the HL7 Gateway, which connects Nihon Kohden bedside monitors to the hospital or clinical information system (HIS, CIS).

MODULAR FLEXIBILITY 
The Life Scope G5 features a MULTI connector and Smart Cable System that allow for modular flexibility. The smart connector cables are easy to handle and do not require mounting, unlike conventional modules. The G-Scope allows all important trends and tables to be directly available on the main screen, and ViTrac Viewer software allows clinicians to access monitoring information for multiple patients anytime and anywhere on the iPad or iPhone.

HL7 COMMUNICATION 
Direct HL7 communication allows the exchange of data between the Life Scope G5 and the hospital information system (HIS) without any additional software. This feature ensures seamless data transfer and enhances the quality of patient care.
